Garden 2019, the first week of June

What a strange spring it has been!  Cold, rainy….and then more cold and rainy, and now, finally…..warm gardening weather!  We have the garden almost all planted, working in bits of time between bouts of rain.  With a finally tally of 900 garlic, 50 pepper, 84 tomato, 112 cabbage,  90 mounds of winter squash (mostly butternut, with some long island cheese, carnival squash, jack o lantern pumpkin, and blue hubbards), 18 zucchini/summer squash, and 30 eggplant.  Whew.  And of course, beans, peas, basil, parsley, dill, cilantro, some kale, red amaranth, sunflower,  and Solomons flower garden..

Now for the tying up of tomatoes, weeding, mulching, and getting the last bits in (potato planting, and some more hot peppers)

Happy Gardening!
