October 1st harvest…

The leaves are turning here, the nights are getting crisp, and approaching frost. It’s time for digging potatoes, going tomato and apple picking, and getting all the frost sensitive veggies harvested….we picked 300 lbs of tomatoes this week, and in a crazy tomato roasting extravaganza, got them all canned today!  Marc and the children dug…
