Oh my how the garden has grown….and the children, the rabbits, the chickens, the turkeys…the sunflowers! This first week in August always has a different feel to it, the slightly crisp evenings (perfect for a campfire) the few trees with slight tinges of fall in the leaves, the flowers at full show. The garden is doing great, the greenhouse is a jungle of food, and we are eating vegetables for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Marc is busy pickling, and I am busy canning!
